Privacy Policy — SBL Social Agent

1. About this app

The SBL Social Agent ("the App") is an internal automation tool operated by SBL Ventures, a laundromat operator. The App is used solely by SBL Ventures staff to draft and publish marketing content, monitor public engagement, and respond to customer comments on social media accounts (Facebook Pages, Instagram Business accounts, and Google Business Profiles) that SBL Ventures owns and operates for its own laundromat locations. The App does not provide any service to end users of those platforms.

2. Information we collect

The App collects and stores only the minimum information necessary to publish and engage with content on social media accounts owned by SBL Ventures:

• Access tokens issued by Meta Platforms, Inc. and Google LLC that authorize the App to publish and reply to comments on behalf of SBL Ventures' own Pages, Instagram Business accounts, and Google Business Profile locations.
• Account identifiers for the same Pages, Instagram accounts, and Business Profile locations (e.g. Page IDs, Instagram Business Account IDs, Google location IDs).
• Content drafted or uploaded by SBL Ventures staff (post text, captions, and image URLs) for the purpose of publishing that content.
• Comments posted by the public on SBL Ventures' own Pages, including the comment text, the commenter's public display name, the commenter's Facebook user ID as returned by the Graph API, the timestamp the comment was posted, and the ID of the post being commented on. This data is collected only so an authorized SBL Ventures team member can read the comment and review a draft reply before posting it back as a Page response.
• Reaction counts (aggregate counts of likes, loves, etc.) on SBL Ventures' own posts. The App does not store the identities of users who reacted — only the totals per reaction type.
• Webhook event metadata delivered by Meta to notify the App of new activity on SBL Ventures' own Pages.
• Performance metadata returned by Meta and Google APIs about posts the App has published (post IDs, timestamps, basic engagement counts) for internal reporting.

The App does not collect personal information from members of the public beyond what is publicly visible alongside their comments on SBL Ventures' own Pages. The App does not contact commenters through any private channel (such as Facebook Messenger or email); replies are posted only as public comments back on the same thread, by the SBL Ventures Page, after review and approval by an authorized SBL Ventures team member.

3. How we use information

The information described above is used only to:

• Authenticate to the Meta Graph API and Google Business Profile API.
• Publish posts, photos, and updates that have been approved by an authorized SBL Ventures team member.
• Receive notifications of new comments and reactions on SBL Ventures' own Pages.
• Display incoming comments to authorized SBL Ventures staff via an internal Telegram interface, draft a suggested reply, and — only after explicit human approval — post that reply publicly back on the same comment thread on behalf of the SBL Ventures Page.
• Retrieve summary performance data on those posts so the team can evaluate their effectiveness.

4. How we store information

All credentials and tokens are stored on a private server operated by SBL Ventures. Access to that server is restricted to authorized SBL Ventures personnel. Tokens are not stored in plain text in version control and are not transmitted to third parties.

5. How we share information

SBL Ventures does not sell, rent, or share the information collected by the App with any third party. The App communicates only with the official APIs operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. and Google LLC, and only for the purposes described in this policy.

6. Data retention and deletion

Access tokens are retained only for as long as the App needs them to operate. When SBL Ventures stops using a particular Page, Instagram account, or Business Profile location, the corresponding tokens and identifiers are removed from the App's storage.

Comment data (text, commenter name, commenter user ID, and post ID) is retained for up to 90 days for the purpose of avoiding duplicate replies and maintaining a record of staff response activity, and is then automatically deleted. Comment data is never used to build profiles, contact commenters off-platform, or for any purpose other than enabling SBL Ventures staff to respond to comments on their own Pages.

If you are a Facebook user and would like the App to delete data it holds about a comment you posted on one of SBL Ventures' Pages, please email the contact address below with the URL of the comment in question. We will remove the corresponding record from the App's storage within 30 days. Note that this does not affect the comment itself on Facebook, which remains under your control through Facebook's own settings.

7. Children's privacy

The App is an internal business tool and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the App's functionality changes. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision.
